How to apply for a Canada visa?

Applying for a Canadian eTA visa is simple and straightforward and the application can be quickly completed using an online form. To be able to apply for an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) you must be from a country that is listed as visa-exempt and you must have a valid passport.

Before you start your application, you should make sure that you have a good internet connection, have your valid passport to hand, have a card to make an online payment with and a valid email address.

You will need to complete all of the mandatory information that is marked with an asterisk. If you miss any of the mandatory information out, your application will not be able to get processed, in fact you won’t even be able to progress to the next page of the application.
